Manufacturing.gov - Manufacturing Opportunities

By: Dean Simmons

This is the perfect time to introduce the newly improved Manufacturing.gov website. Redesigned and reimagined by a collective team of industry experts at the Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) National Network, the revamped website is the go-to venue to learn more about manufacturing in the USA.

This powerful and useful “one stop shop” digital destination guides manufacturers, entrepreneurs, technologists, interagency partners and other key stakeholders through the U.S. Government’s efforts to drive manufacturing opportunities across the states.

Manufacturing.gov serves as the central hub for information on federal manufacturing programs, funding opportunities, and other valuable resources designed to help U.S. manufacturers gain industry knowledge, increase productivity, improve supply chains, and build a strong workforce.

Managed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), the website offers descriptions and contact information for specific programs and funding, topic-focused pages, and announcements from the White House and agencies at the federal level relating to U.S. manufacturing.

You’ll also find reports released by various federal agencies on the manufacturing industry. These reports may discuss the overall state of manufacturing or specialized topics such as developing advanced manufacturing technologies, building a robust domestic supply chain, or in-space manufacturing initiatives.

Visit Manufacturing.gov to explore new opportunities and unlock the future of U.S. manufacturing.
