CONNSTEP President & CEO Recognized Among Women of Distinction

(Hartford, CT, April 2, 2024) – CONNSTEP, the Connecticut Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) center, proudly announces President & CEO Beatriz Gutierrez being recognized as a Woman of Distinction by the American Manufacturing Hall of Fame.

Gutierrez stands among a distinguished group of women recognized by the Hall for their pivotal roles in shaping Connecticut’s manufacturing industry. With over three decades of experience, Gutierrez is a seasoned and accomplished business and economic development executive.

Her expertise in manufacturing encompasses her accreditation as a Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma methodologies, driving enhancements in process efficiency, profitability, and expansion. As a bilingual leader, she has guided companies of all sizes, domestically and internationally, in product marketing and business development endeavors.

Gutierrez holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Marquette University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
